Objective of the Event

The session was organized to promote awareness and understanding of agri-entrepreneurship opportunities through aromatic plant cultivation. It aimed to encourage students to explore sustainable farming practices, value addition, and startup opportunities in the agriculture sector.

Event Summary

The Maharishi School of Agriculture successfully conducted an insightful session on “Agri-entrepreneurship Development through Aroma Plants” under the CSIR Aroma Mission. The session aimed at empowering students with knowledge and practical insights into the growing field of aromatic plant-based agribusiness.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, shared his extensive expertise on the cultivation of aromatic plants, their commercial potential, and the role of value addition in enhancing farmers’ income. He elaborated on the initiatives of the CSIR Aroma Mission and highlighted how students can leverage these opportunities to build successful agri-startups.
