The Entrepreneurial Teacher: Change Agent

June 23–27, 2025 (Monday to Friday)

Introduction

The three-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP), titled “The Entrepreneurial Teacher: Change Agent”, was designed to empower educators with entrepreneurial thinking, leadership mindset, self-awareness, and innovation-driven skills. Conducted by MIIF, the event engaged faculty members from multiple departments through interactive activities, practical tools, and reflective sessions. A total of 14 faculty members from MUIT, Lucknow, actively participated in the programme. The sessions focused on motivation, goal setting, risk-taking, opportunity identification, and entrepreneurial competencies.

  • Strengthening Networks & Rewriting – Personal reflection and collaborative building
  • Purpose – To discover inner strength, improve concentration, and enhance focus without
    visual cues.
  • Outcome – The exercise revealed the role of trust, intuition, and mindfulness in
    problem-solving and team engagement.
  • APO Business Planning – Practical business and startup planning
  • Blindfolded Tower-Building Activity – A powerful experiential activity where participants,
    blindfolded, built towers using wooden blocks.
  • Opportunity Sensing & Idea Generation – Techniques to identify and nurture innovation

Key Feedback Insights:

  • 95% rated the content “Very Good”
  • 92% felt the programme enhanced their motivation and goal-setting abilities
  • 89% appreciated the experiential activities (especially the blindfolded exercise and coin toss simulation)
  • Suggestions included longer sessions on AI and more follow-up workshops on business planning
