The MUIT Incubation & Innovation Foundation (MIIF) successfully organized the Capacity Building Programme (CBP) – Phase II on 22–23 August 2025 at the MUIT Conference Room, Lucknow.
This two-day intensive programme brought together 12 participants who had earlier completed CBP – Phase I, titled “The Entrepreneurial Teacher: Change Agent” held from 23–25 June 2025, which had 14 participants.
Phase II was designed to build on the learning outcomes of Phase I by:

  • Enhancing entrepreneurial competencies
  • Exploring innovative teaching practices
  • Providing practical insights into the startup ecosystem

Participants included faculty members, technical experts, and managerial staff from the Schools of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and Incubation. Their multidisciplinary expertise enriched the discussions and significantly contributed to the programme’s goal of fostering entrepreneurial thinking and innovation-driven teaching practices.

Programme Schedule

Day 1 – 22 August 2025

  • Revisiting the Phase I learnings
  • Self-rating Questionnaire and Motivational Profile Questionnaire (MPQ)
  • Entrepreneur Assessment Tools

The first day began with a comprehensive recap of the key learnings from CBP Phase I. Participants engaged in a self-rating questionnaire and Motivational Profile Questionnaire (MPQ) to reflect on their entrepreneurial skills and behavioural traits. The session also introduced Entrepreneur Assessment tools, enabling participants to systematically evaluate their entrepreneurial competencies.

Day 2 – 23 August 2025

  • Enterprise selection tools and techniques
  • Overview of the startup ecosystem
  • Designing an entrepreneurship training programme

The second day focused on methods and techniques for enterprise selection. The speaker, Mr. Mahendra K. Gupta, shared valuable insights into the startup ecosystem and guided participants on how to design an effective entrepreneurship training programme. The sessions incorporated practical knowledge, real-world examples, and interactive discussions to equip participants with actionable skills for fostering entrepreneurship.

Participants

A total of 12 participants successfully completed both CBP Phase I (23–25 June 2025) and CBP Phase II (22–23 August 2025), making it a comprehensive five-day capacity-building engagement. Their active participation and diverse expertise contributed significantly to the programme’s success in strengthening entrepreneurial thinking and innovation-oriented teaching practices.

Through expert-led sessions, interactive learning, and assessment tools, participants are now better equipped to design and implement entrepreneurship-focused initiatives within their academic and professional settings.
