MUIT Incubation & Innovation Foundation (MIIF), in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence in AI, SIIC-FIRST, IIT Kanpur, organized an Expert Lecture on “Catalyzing Startups: Exploring AI & Startup Ecosystem through AIIDE CoE and SIIC-FIRST, IIT Kanpur” on 14th October 2025 at 2:30 PM. The session was conducted for the final and third-year students of Maharishi School of Engineering & Technology (MSOET), MUIT Lucknow.

Mr. Vasav Krishna
Head – AI/ML Domain, SIIC-FIRST, IIT Kanpur

Mr. Vasav Krishna delivered an insightful talk on the AIIDE CoE (Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Driven Entrepreneurship Center of Excellence) and the MedTech CoE. He explained how these Centers of Excellence aim to support and nurture startups in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Technology (MedTech) across Uttar Pradesh.

Session Highlights

• The speaker shared real-life startup success stories such as Cyethack, Hacklab Solutions, Nadipulse Prognostic, Codemate.ai, and LifeLimb Startups. Through these examples, he illustrated how innovation and AI-driven entrepreneurship can lead to scalable business models and social impact.
• Mr. Krishna also encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship as a career path — creating jobs, fostering innovation, and contributing to the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and a $1 Trillion UP Economy.
• The session concluded with an engaging interaction between students and the speaker, where participants discussed startup challenges, innovation in AI applications, and the role of incubators in the startup journey.
• The event successfully inspired students to think beyond conventional career paths and embrace entrepreneurial and innovative thinking.
