The Five Days Capacity Building Programme on the theme "The Entrepreneurial Teacher: A Change Agent" was held from 1st to 5th July, 2025, at Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida Campus.
The programme aimed to strengthen the entrepreneurial orientation of faculty members by enhancing their understanding of innovation, creativity, and motivational dynamics required to nurture future entrepreneurs. It encouraged teachers to become change agents who can inspire students to convert ideas into sustainable ventures.
The sessions were facilitated by Ms. Rita Sengupta, Ex-Director, NIESBUD, Noida & Chairperson, Udyogini Board.
Ms. Sengupta is a Postgraduate in Psychology from Delhi University and has over 40 years of experience in Entrepreneurship Training (National and International), Research, and Consultancy. Her specialization includes Human Process Training, Gender Development, and Curriculum Design.
She was a key designer of the celebrated Udyogini curriculum and the methodology for Training of Enterprise Support Teams and Grassroots Entrepreneurs. Her insightful sessions and practical approach provided participants with valuable frameworks for effective entrepreneurship education.

The Five Days Capacity Building Programme was a comprehensive initiative that combined knowledge-sharing, motivation, and skill-building. Ms. Rita Sengupta’s sessions inspired participants to integrate entrepreneurial thinking within academic pedagogy.
The programme successfully strengthened the entrepreneurial mindset among faculty members, aligning with MUIT’s vision to create an ecosystem that promotes innovation, research, and startup culture within the university.
